Missiology 2020

Missiology is a degree designed to provide training for missionaries and others who serve or plan to serve in intercultural ministry and church multiplication positions.

At IBC, we believe that as a Christian Bible College, it is our duty to train students to apprehend challenges inside the church and out into the vast, unpredictable world. The Missiology studies at Indiana Bible College is pointed towards those that have a call or passion for missions. The wide spectrum of Christian ministry requires both comprehensive and highly specialized training, Several Christian Bible Colleges make it a point to teach on these courses. But to meet these demands Indiana Bible College students are exposed to a core set of courses and practicums which will enable them to gain critical theological training and be able to make practical application in real ministry contexts.

Theology

The Theology department is about commitment to the Word of God. Department leaders design the program to help students defend and declare the Apostolic doctrine by providing courses such as Apologetics, Oneness Theology, Hermeneutics, Eschatology and others. Students are offered the unique balance of a challenging class environment and supportive ministerial mentoring in an effort to prepare them to meet their goals. Beyond the classroom, students are encouraged to take advantage of opportunities for hands-on ministry training.
As a Missiology student, I have learned to live with a mission every day. Missions is a way of life and missions happens on both domestic and foreign soil. Missions is not limited to a particular place. It begins with your sphere of influence.”
