How to apply for an IBC Scholarship

  1. Download and complete the IBC scholarship application below.
  2. Secure two letters of recommendation.
  3.  Type a 1,000-word essay describing yourself and your future goals in ministry.
  4. Digitally submit all of the previous elements to financial@indianabible.college.
  5. Applications due by April 1

SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

After you apply

  1. Once you have submitted a completed application by the deadline (April 1), the Scholarship Committee will review each applicant.
  2. The Scholarship Committee will make their recommendation for who should receive scholarship monies.
  3. IBC will notify each recipient that is awarded a scholarship. If no communication is received, you should assume that you did not receive a scholarship.

Making a Scholarship Donation
If you would like to make a one-time or yearly scholarship donation or establish a scholarship memorial fund in honor of a loved one or mentor, please contact Indiana Bible College at financial@indianabible.college.

 

Available Scholarships & Grants

All grants and scholarship funds are applied at the end of the semester based on the completion of classes with a 3.0 or higher GPA. Students must be enrolled on a full-time basis. Any student placed on disciplinary probation may forfeit scholarship or grant funds.

Children of Alumni Grant
$200 per year. Awarded to children of IBC alumni.

Missionary Kid Grant
$1,800 per semester. Awarded to children of current UPCI foreign missionaries.

Sibling Grant
$400 per year (per student). Awarded to families with two or more children attending full-time concurrently.

Spousal Grant
$850 per semester. Awarded to the spouse of married students enrolled full-time concurrently.

Albert Skaggs Leadership Scholarship
$1,000 one-time scholarship. Applicants must submit the scholarship application and a 1,000-word essay describing themselves and future goals by April 1.

Albert Skaggs Music Scholarship
$1,000 one-time scholarship. Awarded to a returning student with an emphasis in music. Applicants must submit the scholarship application and a 1,000-word essay describing themselves and future goals by April 1.

Albert Skaggs Theology Scholarship
$1,000 one-time scholarship. Awarded to a returning student with an emphasis in theology. Applicants must submit the scholarship application and a 1,000-word essay describing themselves and future goals by April 1.

Alumni Scholarship
$1,000 one-time scholarship. Open to any student with a letter of recommendation from an IBC alumnus. The applicant should submit the scholarship application, alumnus letter of recommendation, and a 1,000-word essay describing themselves and future goals. Preference is given to students with high academic achievement.

ANAX Foundation Scholarship
$1,000 one-time scholarship. Applicants must submit the scholarship application and a 1,000-word essay describing themselves and their future goals by

April 1.

Ashley McCullough Memorial Scholarship
$1,000 one-time scholarship awarded to a returning student as funds are available. Applicants must submit the scholarship application and a 1,000-word essay describing themselves and future goals by April 1.

Bethany Curton Memorial Scholarship
$1,000 one-time scholarship awarded to a returning student as funds are available. Applicants must submit the scholarship application and a 1,000-word essay describing themselves and future goals by April 1.

Camper of the Year Scholarship
$500 one-time scholarship. Given to any student who attends a UPCI Senior youth camp and receives the Camper of the Year award. The camper must be between the ages of 15-19.

Chase Marshall Memorial Scholarship
$1,000 one-time scholarship awarded to a returning student as funds are available. Applicants must submit the scholarship application and a 1,000-word essay describing themselves and future goals by April 1.

Christian School Valedictorian Scholarship
$1,000 one-time scholarship. Given to any student who attends a UPCI Christian school and graduates with valedictorian status.

Gene and Pauletta Curry Memorial Scholarship
$1,000 one-time scholarship awarded to a returning student as funds are available. Applicants must submit the scholarship application and a 1,000-word essay describing themselves and future goals by April 1.

Jean Corbitt Scholarship
$1,000 one-time scholarship awarded to a returning student as funds are available. Applicants must submit the scholarship application and a 1,000-word essay describing themselves and future goals by April 1.

Mark Hancock Memorial Scholarship
$2,500 one-time scholarship awarded to a returning student as funds are available. Applicants must submit the scholarship application and a 1,000-word essay describing themselves and future goals by April 1.

McCoskey Memorial Scholarship
$500 one-time scholarship awarded to a returning student as funds are available. Applicants must submit the scholarship application and a 1,000-word essay describing themselves and future goals by April 1.

Move the Mission Scholarship
Move the Mission or MTM scholarships are available for Bible College attendees through both the UPCI Youth Ministries and many youth divisions of local districts. MTM has given over 1 million dollars to provide scholarships to qualified people seeking to be trained for service in the Kingdom of God. The Youth Ministries scholarship application deadline is February 1st, while district deadlines may be later. Contact your local district about district MTM scholarships. Quincey Coffey Memorial Scholarship
$1,000 one-time scholarship awarded to a returning student as funds are available. Applicants must submit the scholarship application and a 1,000-word essay describing themselves and future goals by April 1.

Presidential Scholarship
$1675 per semester. Available for students with high academic achievement and combined critical reading/math SAT of 1300 or above, 29 ACT composite. Renewable with a 3.5 cumulative GPA. Documentation of ACT / SAT scores must be provided.

Second Chance Scholarship
$1,000 per semester. This scholarship is intended for a student who has recently gotten into church or made their way back into church. It is intended to encourage and support incoming or returning student who desires to seek the will of God and fulfill what the Lord has called them to do. Applicants must submit the scholarship application and a 1,000-word essay describing themselves and future goals by April 1.

Worship Studies Scholarship
$850 per semester. Each year the IBC Worship Studies Department awards two $850 scholarships for incoming freshmen. This scholarship is renewable each semester until graduation. Recipients must maintain a 3.0 GPA and are required to work in the IBC music office for three hours each week. Applicants must submit the scholarship application and a 1,000-word essay describing themselves and future goals by April 1.

UPCI District Scholarships
Within your district (state), there may be scholarships available. Check with your state Youth Division and Ladies Ministries leaders, as they often offer funds for students choosing a UPCI Bible college.

Local Churches
Local churches often assist their deserving young people as they attend Bible college. Discuss your finances with your pastor and/or youth pastor.
