Biblical Studies

Training Apostolic young people with the necessary tools for effective ministry.

Now is the time for us to answer the call, to be motivated, equipped and deployed into our world to show the power of Apostolic doctrine and truth to redeem this broken world we live in!

The Biblical Studies program at Indiana Bible College is designed with a clear objective in mind: to equip Apostolic ministers with the essential tools for Apostolic interpretation, understanding, and practical application of the Bible.

Through a curriculum centered on theologically holistic courses, students delve deep into the Scriptures, gaining a robust understanding of our beliefs and doctrine. Each class is meticulously crafted to provide a solid biblical foundation, empowering students to navigate the complexities of ministry with confidence and clarity. It’s not just about gaining knowledge; it’s about cultivating a deep-rooted faith and a profound commitment to serving others in the name of Christ.

In the Biblical Studies program, you will be studying the distinctives of Apostolic doctrine including the Doctrine of Salvation, the Oneness of God, Christian Worldview, Holiness, the Doctrine of the Spirit and other basic essentials equipping you to handle objections to our biblical beliefs.

You will be exposed to other classes like Science and the Bible dealing with modern objections to the Bible and Christianity. Classes such as Systematic Theology 1 and 2 show the interconnectedness of all we say about God and His Word, while classes such as Contemporary Theology highlight where we are today in terms of the current wider theology of the world and how we got there. Classes such as Apologetics, Archeology and the Bible, Religion Analysis and more show the best ways to reach the world we live in today with the truth of God’s Word.

The Biblical Studies program equips students to be effective in the following roles: pastor, assistant pastor, youth pastor, evangelist, Bible teacher or instructor, outreach and evangelism coordinator, Sunday school director, author and more.

“I’m indebted to Indiana Bible College. I gained valuable exposure and experience. My four years there prepared me and my spirit to plant a church the week after graduation at age 22. Don't delay any longer, if you have a "yes" from God and a "yes" from your pastor.”

— Mark Brown, Class of 2006
