Head Cook
JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS
Manages daily staff under the direction of the FSD (Food Service Director)
Prep/cook lunch meal as outlined on the daily checklist provided by the FSD
Prep items needed for evening meal as outlined on the daily checklist provided by the FSD
Serves lunch during the appointed times
Ensures tables, trash, and dish collection areas are clean throughout lunch service
Always maintains safety
Directs clean-up of kitchen and café areas during and after meal service
Oversight & assistance in other areas of the kitchen (Ie. Dessert prep, salad bar & lunch meal set-up)
Follow best practices as outlined in the Kitchen Procedures Manual
Pastry Cook / Swing Cook
JOB DESCRIPTION AND REQUIREMENTS
Hours: Often Monday thru Friday 8 am-2:30 pm with rare weekends
Prepares daily desserts to be served at lunch as directed by the Food Service Director (FSD)
Lunch service prep: plates and desserts
Assistance in other areas of the kitchen (Ie. Dessert prep, salad bar & lunch meal set-up)
Assists on the hot bar serving line during lunch service
