CONNECT ’21

IBC CONNECT – a preview weekend

Designed for high school juniors and seniors who feel a call to ministry. Students will be a part of an in-depth look at what it means to be called into ministry and how Indiana Bible College can help educate, train and instruct those called.

Information

Is there an age limit to enter the event?
CONNECT is designed with the high school junior/senior (17-18 year-olds) in mind; however, college students, recent high school graduates and even those who have completed some college work are welcome to attend. Unfortunately, high school sophomores (16-year-olds) may not attend.

How much does it cost to attend?
The cost to attend IBC CONNECT is $50 (+processing fees) for Pre-Registration and $75 (+processing fees) for CONNECT Registration.
This cost includes food, socials, lodging, and a CONNECT t-shirt.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event?
We can provide shuttles to and from the IND airport.
All transportation arrangements must be emailed to promotions@go2ibc.com.
After arriving on campus, students will be provided with transportation to and from events.
Please confirm registration prior to making travel arrangements.

When should I plan to arrive and leave campus?
If we had our wish, you would be here August through December and January through May.
We are excited to have you on campus for this event but cannot receive you before On-Site Check-In begins at 5 p.m. on Thursday. We ask all CONNECT students to be off campus by 12 p.m. on Saturday.

What should I bring?
During CONNECT you will take part of a lot of really cool things. You will need to pack athletic clothing (for open gym-no shorts and no skirts above the knee), business casual clothing (for classes and evening events). You would also want to pack a camera (this is a weekend where you will want to capture memories), bedding (something to keep you warm while your asleep, towels and such to help keep you clean, etc. A Pastor/youth pastor or parents (while this may not be the most popular, all are welcome).

Where can parents and chaperones stay?
Parents must secure their own hotels for their time in Indianapolis during CONNECT. Below is a list of hotels near the IBC campus (listed by distance):

ATTIRE

CLASSES
While you are at CONNECT, we see you as part of the IBC family, and that means you go to family events. IBC classes are revolutionary, so you will want to bring your Bible, a notebook and something to write with, or just bring your favorite note-taking app.

DORMS
We would love if you stayed with us all year, but for the couple of nights you are here, you will need to pack a few of your own items: towels, twin-sized bedding, pillow (the usual ‘I’m going to church camp’ items).

MISC
Below are some things you may also want to consider bringing along:
Athletic clothing (for open gym-no shorts allowed and no skirts above the knee)
Pastor/youth pastor or parents (while this may not be the most popular, all are welcome)
Social media (don’t forget to use #IBCCONNECT21 and share your story with us)
Camera (this is a weekend where you will want to capture memories)
